I have always had a love for animals, having grown up with house full of pets and had horses. I love every aspect of caring for animals and knew this was something I had to do as a career. After having some years out of education, I did a degree in Animal Science and Welfare, and then went onto to qualify as a veterinary nurse in 2018. I found I had a passion for emergency work so I completed a certificate in Emergency and Critical care in 2022 whilst working in a busy out of hours clinic. I am a clinical coach which I love as I find it very rewarding helping and guiding students through their training. Welfare is at the heart of everything I do and I am particularly passionate about fear free handling in all species within the Veterinary profession.
Outside of work I spend my time with my cheeky terrier, Pickle, my cat Toast and with my family and friends. I enjoy keeping fit, active and love the outdoors.
