As a new client of our Stowmarket practice you can expect our full attention to your pet’s needs.
We want your visit to Cedarwood Veterinary Practice to be the best veterinary experience you ever had! We’re all animal lovers here and we work hard to create a warm, inviting and comfortable environment for you and your pet.
When you check in with our front desk you’ll be greeted by one of our friendly and courteous administration team members, as they check in you and your pet. A member of our veterinary team will soon meet you in the waiting room and take you to a consulting room.
During the consultation, our veterinary surgeon will start by asking about your pet’s medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit, gathering as much information as possible to help diagnose what’s wrong. At this point, they may recommend diagnostic tests if needed. Some tests are done in-house, meaning a rapid, same-day turnaround, others need to be sent to specialist laboratories.
Following your consultation, our front desk staff will process your payment and schedule any needed follow-up appointments.
In the light of any diagnostic test results, and depending on the case complexity, your case veterinary surgeon or one of our Registered Veterinary Nurses will phone you, to relay the results, discuss the diagnosis and your pet’s individual care plan, which may involve treatment(s), a re-examination and/or further tests as necessary.
This is a great time to ask questions. Our veterinary team want to make sure you’re completely comfortable with the information we’re providing.
Please note: Our goal is to see all our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.
